The following types of services are available:

Registration of identity cards for Hong Kong residents |
| (b) |
Registration of identity cards for new arrivals
(other than persons admitted under the Supplementary Labour Scheme) |
| (c) |
Registration of identity cards for new arrivals holding Chinese Exit Permit (One Way Permit) and simultaneous processing of their applications for Document of Identity for Visa Purposes |

Replacement of identity cards due to defacement/loss |
| (e) |
Replacement of identity cards for persons subsequent to changes in their immigration status |

Amendment of registered particulars |

All Registration of Persons Offices are using a quota system. Applicants are required to get quota tags at the respective office before their applications be processed. Alternatively, applicant can use the 24-Hour Appointment Booking Service for Hong Kong Smart Identity Card to make an advance booking within the following 12 working days.
