All the information including this written response are for reference only and shall not be relied upon by the tenderers when deciding to submit their bids and/or to enter into any agreement with the Government. The Contract with the Government shall be on the terms and conditions set out in the Contract that constitutes the entire agreement between the parties to the Contract.

According to Part VII Annex A 2.9.2.3.7 Electronic Tag Administration System but not specified in Part VII, please clarify whether we need to include this system in our proposal.
Answer:
Electronic Tag Administration System is not included in Section 1.1.3 of Part VII - Project Specification. It appears in the extract of the Feasibility Study Report (FSR) annexed to Part VII for Tenderers' reference.

Please clarify the new AVC system could make use the existing APVC storage system for data storage.
Answer:
According to section 1.5.1 of Part VII, the Contractor shall make use of the existing or newly installed backend systems of APVCS for the complete implementation of AVCS in the new control point.

Answer:
The application functions provided by the Performance Layer and Operation Layer of the existing APVCS are specified in section 4.20 of Part VII.

Please clarify whether Immigration will provide network (Fibre, UTP) from Kiosk to Control Room Building.
Answer:
According to section 4.17.9 of Part VII, the Contractor shall be responsible for all the necessary cabling and network node installation at AVC lanes, computer rooms and hub/resilience rooms.

Is there any multi-plaster provided for display wall? What kind of signal needed to support? How many CCTV and AVC workstation need to support for display wall?
Answer:
The meaning of "multi-plaster" is not clear.
According to section 4.6.4 of Part VII, the AVC Workstation at the AVC Lane shall communicate with Administration and Monitoring Equipment in order to providing the administrative and monitoring functions on the proposed lanes. The requirements on the AVC Administration and Monitoring Equipment, including the 4 display units with screen size of at least 50" per display unit, are specified in section 4.16 of Part VII.

According to Part VII Clause 4.10.5, please clarify the exact location of the induction loop provided by Government.
Answer:
The exact location of the equipment will be confirmed in the System Analysis and Design (SA&D) Stage.

4.3.13.2 |
According to Part VII Clause 4.3.13.2, the Contractor shall share use the Vehicle detection loops and AVRS Cameras. Please clarify whether AVRS will provide the detection loops and cameras. If yes, please provide exact location and quantity.
Answer:
According to section 4.3.13.2 of Part VII, the Contractor shall share use with C&ED, but not limited to, the following equipment or devices with similar functions provided by the Government in the SBCP in each AVC lane.
a. Vehicle detection loops;
b. AVRS cameras and vehicle license recognition system; and
c. Exit message display board.
Besides, according section 4.5.2.1 a(i) of part VII, the Government will provide four induction loops to detect the position of the vehicles. The exact locations of the equipment will be confirmed in the System Analysis and Design (SA&D) Stage.

According to Part VII Clause 4.18.8, the maximum no. of DVRS racks is 5. Please clarify the size of rack and whether the rack will be provided by government.
Answer:
According to section 4.18.6 of Part VII, Tenderers shall propose all the required hardware and software for the CCTV system.
