4.5.2.1

According to Part VII 4.5.2.1, Government will provide four induction loops to detect the position of the vehicles. Please clarify whether the four induction loops provided by government is per lane. 

Answer:

According to 1.2.2 of Annex M of Part VII, the number of loops per lane is 4.

Table 1.4/2.4

In Part V Schedule 1 Table 1.4 and Schedule 2 Table 2.4, please clarify what kind of hardware and software could be supplied by government.

Answer: 

Please refer to the definition of "Government Supplied Hardware" and "Government Supplied Software" in section 1.1 of Part IV - Conditions of Contract. Tenderers must propose to the Government if Government Supplied Hardware and Government Supplied Software are required.
