Application Procedures

Application Form - The entrant should complete the application form [ID(E)967 (English version) or ID(C)967 (Chinese version)] which can be obtained from the following offices:

• Immigration Department Headquarters;
• Immigration Branch Offices;
• Chinese Diplomatic and Consular Missions; and
• Immigration Section of the Office of the Government of the HKSAR in Beijing.

Submission of Application - Applications may be submitted in person or by post direct to:

Processing of Application - All applications are processed by the Immigration Department. Subject to the receipt of all necessary documents, it normally takes four to six weeks to complete processing. Failure to submit all necessary documents will cause delay to the processing.
