List of information / supporting documents required for visa application for education in Hong Kong

For an entry visa application for education in Hong Kong, please provide the following :-

	an application form ID(E) 936, with relevant parts duly completed and signed;
	a letter of acceptance from the school which the applicant wishes to enter;
	if the applicant is under the age of 18, one of the applicant's parents should authorise the sponsor or his relative/friend to be the guardian of the applicant.  A consent letter duly signed by both the guardian and one of the applicant's parents and the guardian should be produced;
	evidence of the sponsor's financial standing, e.g. bank statements, saving account passbook, tax receipts and employment certificates;
	an undertaking that the sponsor is prepared to arrange accommodation for the applicant or the applicant will be staying with him; or evidence that a place has been provided in recognised boarding school;
	evidence of the applicant's past residence in Hong Kong (if any).

Note :

In addition to the above-mentioned documents, other information/documents in support of the application may be required by the processing officer in individual cases.
