Application for Entry from Chinese Residents of Taiwan
General
Chinese residents of Taiwan who do not possess any travel document issued by other authorities outside Taiwan may apply for Entry Permits to enter Hong Kong for the purpose of visit, employment, training, investment, study or residence.

How to apply
 |
Applicants may submit their applications to this Department through the authorized airline offices in Taiwan. |
 |
Other than entry applications for visit, applicants may also submit the completed application forms to this Department through a local sponsor either by post or in person. |
 |
For applications for entry for employment, training, investment, study or residence, applicants must nominate a local sponsor. |
 |
Regarding applications for entry for visit, nomination of a reference may assist the Department in conducting enquiries and may avoid delay. |

A local sponsor should be :-

 |
over 21 years of age; |
|
 |
a permanent resident of Hong Kong and in possession of a Hong Kong identity card for at least 5 years; |
|
 |
in full-time employment in Hong Kong; and |
|
 |
well acquainted with the applicant. |
Collection
Successful applicant will be issued with Entry Permit through the airline office or local sponsor.
Fee
The fee is payable upon issue of the Entry Permit.
