Immigration Control Points

Passengers who travel to Hong Kong by air, land or sea may choose any one of the following 11 control points for entry and exit. A new Performance Pledge was introduced in 2007 to clear 95% of residents within 15 minutes at all air, land and sea control points. For visitors, it was pledged that 92% of visitors would be cleared within 15 minutes at the Airport control point, and within 30 minutes for all other control points. All control points met their pledges in 2007. During busy hours, however, the waiting time for clearance may be slightly longer.
