The Department is committed to providing efficient and courteous service to members of the public while at the same time maintaining effective immigration control. The table at the back of this booklet sets out the standard processing time and due date we aim to achieve for a wide range of services. These standards, however, may not be achievable during certain daily busy hours or peak periods or in complicated cases.
