Seven Tips for Travelling

Have ample validity on your travel documents and obtain the necessary visas before travel
Oversee your personal safety and situations in destinations, and avoid staying in crowded areas
Travel documents and cash should be kept separately and securely, and beware of pickpockets
Leave your contact telephone, address and itinerary with your relatives and friends in Hong Kong
Insure against suitable policies prior to travel to cater for exigencies outside Hong Kong
Never forget to contact the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in overseas destinations for emergency
Enlist assistance through hotline 1868 when in distress outside Hong Kong requiring assistance
