Country of Origin Information

Introduction

The following are some of the common sources of country of origin information ("COI") and reports which may be used by immigration officials to make decisions on non-refoulement claims under the unified screening mechanism. This is for general reference only and is not meant to be an exhaustive list. Immigration officials will consider other relevant country information, among other things, as individual cases may require.
