Starting from 24 June 2020, applicants who are / were non-local students and have obtained an undergraduate or higher qualification in a full-time and locally-accredited programme in Hong Kong may apply for the Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG) online or through the mobile application. Accompanying dependants may also submit their applications to stay in the HKSAR as a group through the e-submission service.
Prospective non-local fresh graduates who intend to apply to stay and work in the HKSAR under the IANG but have not yet secured graduation results may also make use of the e-submission service to apply for an interim extension of stay on student condition to wait for the promulgation of results. An application for extension of stay should be submitted within four weeks before the expiry of the applicant's limit of stay, and that the applicant should be physically present in Hong Kong both at the time of application and at the time of collection of the extension of stay label.
To avoid large gatherings of people, the Immigration Department appeals to eligible IANG applicants to either submit their applications online, by using the mobile application or by drop-in.
Eligible applicants may visit www.gov.hk/iang to submit applications.
