Attention: If you are a registered elector and consent to transfer your personal particulars to the Registration and Electoral Office (REO) for the purpose of verifying the relevant particulars in the electoral register, this Department will only transfer your relevant personal particulars to the REO after you have completed the Hong Kong identity card application/replacement process at Registration of Persons Offices or completed notification of change of particulars previously registered/change of address.

The statutory deadline to apply for change of particulars for the electoral register falls on 2 June every year. As the statutory deadline has already passed, even if the REO considers that change of particulars in the electoral register is required after receiving personal particulars from this Department, and electors have separately submitted applications for change of registration particulars to REO, those changes will only be included in the electoral register to be compiled next year.
