Attention: If you are a registered elector and consent to transfer your personal particulars to the Registration and Electoral Office (REO) for the purpose of verifying the relevant particulars in the electoral register, this Department will only transfer your relevant personal particulars to the REO after you have completed the Hong Kong identity card application/replacement process at Registration of Persons Offices or have completed notification of change of particulars previously registered/change of address.
The statutory deadline to apply for change of particulars for the electoral register falls on 2 June every year. As the statutory deadline has already passed, all changes of personal particulars including those received by the REO from this Department, and applications for change of particulars separately submitted to the REO, will only be included in the electoral register to be compiled next year.
