Purpose: | To raise public awareness of national security, the Immigration Service Institute of Training and Development will hold an open day on the National Security Education Day. A series of interactive activities, including expert talks, professional demonstrations and games booths, will be organised to give the public an understanding of the duties of the Immigration Department in maintaining and implementing the principle of "one country, two systems", safeguarding national security, and serving Hong Kong residents, including those outside Hong Kong. |

Registration for Admission Tickets: | An admission ticket is required for the public’s entrance (not applicable to children aged three or below). The registration for admission tickets was completed on 2 April 2023. Only a limited number of tickets is available and tickets will be allocated by computer ballot. Each successful participant will obtain two admission tickets and receive a confirmation email on or before 3 April 2023. |
Other Points to Note: | Inclement weather arrangement If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 or above / Black Rainstorm Signal is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory on the Open Day, activities will be arranged as follows: Morning session visits will be cancelled if the Signal is still in force at or after 7:30 am; while afternoon session visits will be cancelled if the above Signal is still in force at or after 11:00 am. |
