The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) has received confirmation from the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Beijing that HKSAR passport holders do not need a visa for visiting the Republic of Moldova for up to 90 days within six months from the date of first entry.

The Government of the HKSAR has also received confirmation from the Embassy of the Republic of Malawi in Beijing that HKSAR passport holders do not need a visa for visiting the Republic of Malawi. The duration of stay would be determined by the competent authorities on arrival.

Including the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Malawi, 149 countries/territories have now granted visa-free access or visa-on-arrival to HKSAR passport holders.
