Latest visit arrangements for Castle Peak Bay Immigration Centre and Ma Tau Kok Detention Centre of Immigration Department

16 December 2022

The spokesman for the Immigration Department (ImmD) today (December 28) said that, with effect from tomorrow (December 29), visitors entering Castle Peak Bay Immigration Centre and Ma Tau Kok Detention Centre (the Centres) will no longer be required to present their Vaccine Pass QR code. To reduce the risk of the spread of the virus into the Centres, visitors are still required to conduct a rapid antigen test by themselves with a negative result obtained on the day of the visit, and declare the test result in a health declaration form upon arrival at the Centres.

The above visit arrangements may be subject to changes according to the epidemic developments, and visitors should pay attention to ImmD press releases and the departmental website.
