Any person who needs to amend the personal particulars on his/her identity cards should complete the application form (ROP 73) and provide copies of supporting documents.

Upon receipt of the application, the Registration of Persons Office will ask the applicant to attend an interview to produce the originals of his/her supporting documents. If the application is approved, arrangements will be made for the applicant to replace his/her identity card at a fee of HK$460.
