1. The Immigration Department ("ImmD") of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region attaches great importance to the protection of privacy in relation to personal data and is committed to complying with the provisions under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
2. The mobile application of the ImmD namely "HK Immigration Department" ("the Application") provides an instant, on-the-go access to the information of ImmD. ImmD will not collect or obtain any personal information when you download and use this Application (except when you use network data to call the Assistance to Hong Kong Residents Unit 1868 Hotline where the system will record caller’s mobile device identification code for the purpose of making return call by network data).
3. Upon browsing certain information of the Application, you will be connected to other websites on which you may be required to provide certain information. You are advised to read through the privacy policies of these websites to understand respective practices in relation to personal data.
