• In response to the developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, passenger clearance services at the following control points have been suspended in phases since end-January 2020, with details as follows:
  • Express Rail Link West Kowloon, Hung Hom, Man Kam To and Sha Tau Kok (with effect from 30 January 2020); and
  • Lo Wu, Lok Ma Chau Spur Line and Lok Ma Chau (with effect from 4 February 2020).
• Lo Wu Control Point, Lok Ma Chau Spur Line Control Point and Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point were set up as “Boundary Control Point Polling Stations”on 19 December 2021 for electors to return from the Mainland to Hong Kong to vote in the 2021 Legislative Council General Election.

Remark(s):
The Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point commenced operation on 26 August 2020, with only cargo clearance service available at this stage (i.e. no passenger clearance service for the time being).
