For Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (Non-Chinese Citizens) as announced by the Exit and Entry Administration of the People’s Republic of China on 1 July 2024, applicant may apply for the Notice of Application for Access to Information from the Immigration Department. For details, please press here.


Eligible persons may submit the following types of applications using the Personal Documentation Submission Kiosk (PDSKs) without the need to make an appointment:

Application for identity card:

  • Replacement for an adult identity card for persons reaching the age of 18 and holding an identity card for persons aged 11 to 17;
  • Replacement for a permanent identity card for persons aged 18 or above having their eligibility for a permanent identity card verified; and
  • Replacement for an identity card due to loss for persons aged 18 or above. new

Application for HKSAR passport:

  • First application for passport for persons aged 11 or above;
  • Normal replacement due to expiry of the passport; and
  • Replacement of a passport which has been lost, damaged, defaced or is not available for persons aged 18 or above. new
