Remark(s):

  1. The 'Top Talent Pass Scheme' has been implemented since 28 December 2022.
  2. The 'Capital Investment Entrant Scheme' has been suspended since 15 January 2015. All applications under the scheme have been finalised in October 2023.
  3. The 'New Capital Investment Entrant Scheme' has been implemented since 1 March 2024.
  4. The figures refer to the numbers of received and approved applications for visas/ entry permits that were submitted to the ImmD after the applicants have obtained the Certifying Proof for Fulfillment of Net Asset Requirement issued by Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK). Applicants who were given "Approval-in-Principle" can enter Hong Kong on visitor status for not more than 180 days for making the committed investment.
  5. The figures refer to the numbers of received and approved applications for visas/entry permits that the applicants submitted the Certifying Proof for Fulfillment of Net Asset Requirement to ImmD for resuming assessment on their applications, after the applicants have obtained the Certifying Proof for Fulfillment of Net Asset Requirement issued by InvestHK.
  6. The figures refer to the number of successful cases passing the selection exercise.
  7. The 'Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates' has been expanded to include graduates from the GBA campuses of Hong Kong universities since 28 December 2022.
  8. The 'Special Scheme to Import Care Workers for Residential Care Homes' has been implemented since 19 June 2023.
  9. The 'Sector-specific Labour Importation Schemes' have been implemented since 17 July 2023.
  10. The 'Supplementary Labour Scheme' was enhanced and renamed as the 'Enhanced Supplementary Labour Scheme' since 4 September 2023.
